A surprise phone call from my sister send me into jitters. She was almost a month away from her wedding and she had still not purchased her wedding gown. She requested me to come over and help her with it. I took my 2 month old baby and headed straight to Nevada where she resides. There was lot of confusion at home. I didn’t know where to leave my baggage. The entire house was into wedding preparations, leaving no room for me or my child. My sweet sister, Gloria, acknowledged my presence and thanked me for my time. We sat for days browsing online for the perfect wedding dress. We came across a fluffy Pink dress that looked perfect for that BIG day. She placed an order for it and it arrived in 2 days. I could sense the nervousness on Gloria’s face as the days were approaching closer. Two nights before her wedding she told me all about Ned and how she met him? It looked like a perfect love story. I wished her all the best for that big day. In our childhood, we would fight non-stop over petty things. However, that night we understood each other better and grew close to each other. I really think the bond between sisters become stronger once they are married. I was very happy for her. The wedding had added a glow to her face and she was all ready to add another feather to her cap, that of a perfect wife.
